Registration, Parking & Hotels
Registration for the CHS AI Research Summit is open to the VCU College of Humanities and Sciences, the broader VCU community, and guests from industry, higher education, and the community. Choose the registration option below that best describes you to reserve your spot.
Registration includes Summit programming and materials, lunch, coffee and refreshments throughout the day, and the closing reception. All attendees, including Summit presenters, must register. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
Registration closes Friday, October 9, 2026, at 5 p.m., or earlier if available space is filled.
CHS Registration
For VCU College of Humanities and Sciences faculty and graduate students.
Registration opens August 24. Registration fees are covered by the College of Humanities and Sciences. Registration is limited to the first 100 participants.
Eligible CHS faculty and graduate students will receive the registration link by email. A VCU email address is required to register.
VCU Faculty & Graduate Students
For VCU faculty and graduate students outside the College of Humanities and Sciences.
Registration fees are covered by the VCU Office of the Provost. Registration is limited to the first 100 participants. A valid VCU email address is required to register.
CHS faculty and graduate students should use the registration link sent directly to them by email.

General Registration
For industry and community partners, participants from other colleges and universities, organizations, and presenters from outside VCU.
Registration is $75 per person and includes all Summit programming and materials, full lunch, coffee and refreshments throughout the day, and the closing reception.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

Planning Your Visit
The CHS AI Research Summit will be held at the VCU STEM Building, 817 W. Franklin St., Richmond, VA 23284, on VCU's Monroe Park Campus.
Parking
Visitors traveling by car should plan to use one of VCU's visitor parking decks. The West Main Street Parking Deck, 801 W. Main St., is a convenient option near the STEM Building.
Additional visitor parking is available at the West Broad Street Parking Deck, 1111 W. Broad St., and the West Cary Street Parking Deck, 1201 W. Cary St.
Street parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis, with three-hour limits along W. Franklin Street, including spaces directly in front of the STEM Building. Accessible parking spaces are clearly marked. Payment can be made using the Passport Parking app or at a nearby parking pay station.

Traveling to Richmond?
For attendees traveling from outside the Richmond area, several hotels are located near VCU's Monroe Park Campus and downtown Richmond. The Summit does not have a designated hotel block, so attendees should make reservations directly with their preferred hotel.

Hotel rates and availability vary. Attendees traveling to Richmond are encouraged to make reservations early and confirm current rates, parking, and cancellation policies directly with their hotel.
