Project summary: This paper examines how weaponized political and religious rhetoric in the United States instigates hatred and leads to the deaths of individuals within marginalized communities. Through several contemporary case studies, the author illustrates the lethal consequences of dehumanizing language and argues that public awareness is essential to preventing future violence against these groups.
