Reynolds oversees the College of Humanities and Sciences Sponsored Programs Office, research development, internal grant process and other research activities within CHS.
Angela Reynolds, Ph.D., is the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Humanities and Sciences. She oversees the CHS Sponsored Programs Office, research development, internal grant process and other research activities within CHS. The sponsored programs office supports faculty, postdocs and students with their proposal development, submission and award management. Reynolds also serves as a tenured professor in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Her collaborative research focuses on the role of inflammation in the healing process and disease progression, such as atherosclerosis and ventilator-induced lung injury. Additionally, she collaborates with a team developing predictive models for pain in Sickle Cell Anemia. She has received several grants and has publications in highly rated mathematical biology journals. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Pittsburgh.
