This past fall, the College of Humanities and Sciences traveled to New York City to interview alumna Lisa Hines-Johnson (B.A. '95/MC) who currently serves as the chief operating officer of the Food Bank for New York City. The Food Bank for NYC feeds 1.4 million New Yorkers every year and supports more than 1,000 shelters, food pantries, soup kitchens and schools.
Lisa told us about her role at the Food Bank, her career path and some of her favorite memories of VCU.
