As grant research coordinator (pre-award), Trae Harris provides support to the College in the area of grant proposal development and assists with the submission of external applications for sponsored research. He comes to the College of Humanities and Sciences by way of the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) and the VCU School of Medicine.
Harris started his career at VCU in 2010 as a business operations administrator with the facilities management division and entered the research sphere as the fiscal administrator of the CCTR, where, at the time of its awarding, their clinical and translational sciences award was the largest grant at VCU. At the School of Medicine, Harris provided administrative research support primarily to the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pathology and Neurology.
