Usidame's research interests focus on understanding the unintended consequences of tobacco control policies on health disparities and policies that address persistent tobacco use disparities.

Omobukola Usidame, Ph.D., received her master's and doctorate in public policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2018. She recently completed an interdisciplinary postdoctoral training through the iCubed program, Health and Wellness in Aging Population Core. Her fellowship was housed in the VCU School of Medicine/School of Nursing.

Usidame's research interests focus on understanding the unintended consequences of tobacco control policies on health disparities and policies that address persistent tobacco use disparities.
