Indranil Sahoo, Ph.D.
Indranil Sahoo, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in statistics from North Carolina State University, where he completed his dissertation on spatio-temporal models for physical processes. He also holds an M.Stat. in statistics with a specialization in biostatistics from Indian Statistical Institute and a B.Sc. in statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India.
Prior to joining VCU, Sahoo was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Wake Forest University.
His research interests include spatio-temporal processes, processes on spheres, environmental statistics and large-scale computational statistics.
