Indranil Sahoo, Ph.D.
Indranil Sahoo, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in statistics from North Carolina State University, where he completed his dissertation on spatiotemporal models for physical processes. He also holds an M.Stat. in statistics with a specialization in biostatistics from Indian Statistical Institute and a B.Sc. in statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India.
Prior to joining VCU, Sahoo was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Wake Forest University.
His research interests include spatiotemporal processes, processes on spheres, environmental statistics and large-scale computational statistics.
